How do I apply for the 2010 federal tax credit of 30% up to a maximum of $1500 for energy efficient windows?
1. Be certain the windows you have purchased meet the criterion necessary for the credit. For windows purchased before December 31, 2010, the A-BEST "S" Series Window is eligible for a credit of 30% up to a maximum of $1500. (Note: This credit only applies to qualifying windows installed in the homeowner's existing primary residence).
2. The homeowner should keep a copy of the contract provided at the time of sale by A-BEST WINDOW. Also keep a copy of the Manufacturer's Certification Statement.

3. You will need to file the 2010 IRS Form 5695 and submit it with your 2010 taxes (by April 18th). (Note: Industry Standard for window installation is $50/window for labor). On the 1040 form, the residential energy tax credit (from Form 5695) is claimed on line 52. IRS Form 5695
